In efforts to support your ongoing work to protect the health of our most vulnerable San Francisco residents, the SF Health Network Dental Services, Maternal Child & Adolescent Health, Comprehensive Perinatal Services Program (CPSP), Child Health & Disability Prevention (CHDP) Program, and CavityFree SF, are hosting:

At the Round Table you will learn about the following:

  • The importance of oral health care during pregnancy and its effects on pregnancy outcomes.

  • Ways in which clinic staff can provide information to patients about the importance of oral health in pregnancy and basic oral hygiene education.

  • Standard of Care and best practices for providing safe dental care during pregnancy.

  • Referral protocols for perinatal oral health and linking across the dental/medical inter-professions.

  • Billing and insurance coverage information for dental services.

  • Networking with dentist and pregnancy provider colleagues.


Breaskfast will be provided.

2 hours of Continuing Education credits for RN's, LVNs available; 2 hours of Continuing Dental Education credits available and 2 hours of CME's from the American Academy of Family Physicians. Please indicate in the registration that you would like to receive continuing education credits.
